The church was established in the 1980s as Brightlingsea Baptist Church. A lot has changed since then, including our name and some of the faces but we are still all about Jesus and sharing the good news of the gospel with our local community.
We are a friendly bunch and visitors are always welcome, whether they be holiday-makers just passing through, or local residents., whether you would count yourself a Christian or not.
We believe that everyone is precious, and unique, and each individual has a special part to play within the life of the church. This is a place where everyone can share and get involved, using whatever gifts and abilities they have been given to serve the church and the wider community, and receive the encouragement and empowerment to live the abundant and fulfilling life that God intends for them.
We are members of the Baptist Union as well as Churches Together in Brightlingsea, with whom we participate and collaborate in various activities from time to time.
